Brentwood Neighborhood Park

Brentwood Neighborhood Park sits in one of Austin's most walkable central neighborhoods, just north of 45th Street off Arroyo Seco. The park has 2 courts that can be set up for pickleball on the existing hard surface — players need to bring their own nets, which is worth knowing before you make the trip.

The park draws a mix of Brentwood locals and players from surrounding Hyde Park and Allandale who prefer a low-key neighborhood setting over the busier city rec centers. Courts are free, no reservation required, first-come first-served. Because it's only 2 courts and nets aren't permanent, it's best suited for a group that's coming together rather than hoping to find a pickup game.

The surrounding park has restrooms, a playground, walking trails, and tennis courts — making it a good spot for families who want to spread out. Parking is free along Arroyo Seco. Best times are weekday mornings and early afternoons when courts are less crowded.
